Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a spring 2018 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,760 students receiving the same honor.

Dean's List Spring 2018

Wheaton College students were recognized by the Chemistry Department at Wheaton College's Honors Convocation ceremony.

In a ceremony on Saturday, April 29, 2017, more than 400 Fort Lewis College graduates and their families packed Whalen Gymnasium for Fall Commencement. The speaker chosen to offer the Commencement Address was Kevin Gover, director of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian.

Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

Students from the College of Graduate and Professional Students at Trine University were named to the President's List for the Spring 2017 semester. To earn President's List honors, CGPS students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.750-4.000.

Nearly 400 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Spring 2016 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.

Trine University School of Professional Studies is pleased to announce its fall 2015 president's list.

Trine University is pleased to announce its spring 2015 president's list for the Peoria campus. To be named to the president's list, a student must maintain at least 12 credit hours and have a minimum 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Students who were on the Dean's List during Fall semester 2014

Several area residents received merit scholarships to attend Fort Lewis College for the Fall 2014 semester. These merit scholarships are renewable for up to 120 credits if criteria are met. Fort Lewis College also offers several other scholarships, including grants, the Finish in Four! Scholarship, FLC Foundation scholarships, alumni scholarships, departmental scholarships, Native American scholarships, and outside scholarships.

The Fall 2014 semester welcomed nearly 1300 new transfer and freshmen students to Durango, Colorado.
